Under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, member of the supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, the government of Fujairah concluded an agreement with the Museum of Unique Collectibles, to establish the museum of international History in Fujairah, which preserves rare artifacts from the ancient times of various world civilisations.
The agreement was signed by his Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al-Dhanhani, Director of the Amiri Court in Fujairah, and Victor M. Prakash, President of the Unique Collectables Museum.
His excellency Mohammed Saeed Al- Dhanhani said that the Emirate of Fujairah, with the support of His Highness sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme council and Ruler of Fujairah, has begun preparations of the establishment of the International History Museum, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East.
The experience the museum will offer will be an exceptional and rare opportunity for the public in the United Arab Emirate and the world, visitors will be able to view and learn about different artifacts from many different civilisations. These artifacts will be transported from different parts of the world and displayed in the museum with the help of a group of experts and specialists.
Al-Dhanhani stressed the importance of establishing the museum because of its abundant arts that will reflect the ancient civilisations of the world, pointing out that visitors to the museum will get acquainted with the great legacy that dates back to different periods of world history, noting that the museum will also be a rare opportunity for student and academics to see and benefit form its precious contents.
For his part, Victor M. Parkash, president of the Unique Collectables Museum, stressed the importance of the cooperation with the government of Fujairah and the authorities concerned with the archaeological sector in the emirate to create a museum that is the first of its kind in the region in order to achieve an added value that supports the local and international tourism movement in Fujairah, and to provide an opportunity for those interested in getting to know the most important and rare artifacts from the world.
The President of the unique Collectibles Museum extended his thanks to his Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, member of the Supreme council and Ruler Fujairah, for his support for the establishment of the museum, as his highness believes in the important role in preserving the history of nations and documenting historical information and heritage collections for future generations, stressing that the Fujairah Goverment provided the project every facility needed
The sining of the agreement was attended by Saeed Al Samahi Director of the Fujairah Tourism and Antiquities Authority, a number of the local government directors in the emirate of Fujairah and members of the Board of Directors of the Unique Collectibles Museum.
